The Return Of The Ghost

From a friend: Why do guys (and women) go MIA or ghost for weeks or months then pop up again later like nothing is wrong?
Seriously…Why?

Probably because it's easier to do that then to be honest and say hey not really feeling this or what ever this is, or in some cases you really don't want to hurt someone so it's just easier not to contact them at all.

  1. As for the second part of the question on why men and women go ghost for weeks or months on end and then pop up like nothing is wrong, it's because u are nothing but a back up to them, see what happens is they met someone, and things didn't work out and now they are hopeful that you are still available. And that is my most honest answer.

  1. Maybe those things are true too.  But you cannot possibly figure out the complicated dynamics of a woman's world.  Did you ever consider  the woman who knows her weaknesses. So she shuts down. She knows that if she indulges in her weak spot or dabbles with temptations, she will hurt those she loves. The wellbeing of those she loves, maybe her children for example, outweigh her needs of the moment. It's a close race between filling her empty places of desire and not wrecking lives which she holds dear. So she shuts down on someone she finds endearing - someone she is intrigued enough to converse deeply with. She gets afraid of herself...her bent toward fulfilling both dreams and fantasies. You didn't think about her, did you. Perhaps she was very attracted but took her responsibilities seriously. U know? Consider her. Because things are often not what they seem. Dark heart.

I feel you. Keep in mind that the comments made before were from a woman. I made a mistake of moderating the answer and it showed up as I as the person who answered of that question. My deepest apologies for both the original poster and to you.
